What's gameroom.io?

gameroom.io blends video chat with board games to create a unique social experience. It's Skype meets Yahoo! Games, rolled into a friendly interface and with a focus on thoughtful board games.

What games do you have?

We currently just have Merchants of Grio, but we plan on releasing more in the future.

What's Merchants of Grio?

It's a strategic trading game, like Monopoly but way more fun and a lot shorter. It's based on (but not in any way affiliated with) The Settlers of Catan, by Klaus Teuber.

Do I need a webcam to play?

No, a webcam is not required. However it's so much more fun when you can see and talk to your friends. Give it a try if you can!
